Coronavirus situation analysis:
Europe has already passed the peak of the pandemic. In Italy and Spain, the graph of active cases rose a few days ago but is now steadily declining. Other countries have passed the peak earlier. The most unpleasant situation is still in Britain, where authorities did not introduce quarantine for a long time.
As of April 26, daily deaths in Europe fell sharply: in Italy, Spain and France, fatality was no more than 300 per day. In Britain, deaths amounted to 413, almost 2 times lower than the previous days.
It seems that Europe is already emerging from the pandemic. Restrictions for the people and the economy are also starting to be lifted - shops, squares, parks, and businesses are starting to re-open.
The United States, meanwhile, is currently at the peak. Active cases are almost 1 million: 987 thousand, and the increase is about 2%. Fatality is about 1,157 per day.
It appears that the figures are not the maximum yet. The US is yet to pass the pandemic's peak.
In Russia, a drop in the daily increase of new cases was observed - currently below 7% per day.
Russia may repeat Italy's scenario - but with a slightly smaller number of patients (about 1.5 times lesser than Italy's).
Forecast: Russia will reach the maximum number of active cases on May 19-20. After that, it will begin to decline.
Active cases in Russia may reach approximately 120 thousand.
In Moscow, it will probably be about 60-70 thousand cases.
In St. Petersburg, about 3.5-4.5 thousand cases.
