On the first day of July, bitcoin suddenly took an upward course after a protracted five-day decline. The coin was trading at $19,394 on Friday. Bitcoin unexpectedly started July with growth

Crypto experts are sure that if bitcoin continues to grow, then the nearest significant resistance awaits in the region of $23,000.

Recall that in June, bitcoin lost about 40% of its value and closed monthly trading at $19,924. At the same time, at the beginning of the first month of summer, the price of the main cryptocurrency asset was slightly less than $32,000.

Since November 2021, when the coin updated its historical record, soaring above $69,000, the cryptocurrency has already lost more than 70% in price.

Altcoin market

The main competitor of bitcoin, the altcoin Ethereum, was also growing steadily on Friday and has reached $1,059 at a point.

As for cryptocurrencies from the top 10 by capitalization, the highest increase was recorded by Solana (+2.64%), and the most significant decrease was recorded by Dogecoin (-1.77%).

According to the results of the past week, among the ten strongest cryptocurrencies, the best results were shown by the Dogecoin coin (+2.90%), and the worst by Solana (-13.11%).

According to the world's largest virtual asset data aggregator CoinGecko, over the past 24 hours, Amp (+20.4%) topped the list of leaders in the top 100 most capitalized digital assets, and TerraClassicUSD (-33.7%) took the first place in the drop list.
