The recovery happened on Friday, after investors received data on inflation forecasts, indicating a reduction in the risks of preservation in the long term. Long-term inflation expectations of consumers in the United States decreased in early July. They turned out to be considerably better than economists' projections, and the recent drop in gasoline prices helped boost sentiment. Consumers expect prices to climb by 2.8 percent each year over the next 5-10 years, up from 3.1 percent in June. According to the University of Michigan, spending is also anticipated to climb by 5.2 percent next year, compared to 5.3 percent last month. This decreased hopes that the Federal Reserve would be more aggressive during the July meeting. Last week, speculation began to swirl that the Central Bank could hike interest rates by 100 basis points.

Nevertheless, anxieties about the recession remain in focus. Market players believe that the Fed's tough efforts to restrain excessive inflation over the last decades may have inevitably driven the economy to recession. Expectations that the markets will stay turbulent in the near future are also related to the start of the reporting season. A handful of corporations from the financial sector last week showed unclear numbers.
