The NZD/USD pair registered a strong growth in the short term and now is almost to hit the downtrend line which represents an upside obstacle. As long as it stays below it, the price could drop again. Testing and retesting this line or registering false breakouts may announce a new strong downside movement.
On the other hand, passing and stabilizing above the downtrend line indicates that the downtrend ended and that we may have an upside reversal.
