FX.co ★ Overview of the U.S.stock market.

The shares continued their growth in the last trading session on Tuesday, despite that the financial and technology sectors did not show forceful results in comparison with the preceding sessions.
Dow Jones Industrial Average closed higher by 68 points at 8916. Dow gained 769 points or more than 9% since July 10. Nasdaq rose by 7 points to 1916 and S&P 500 increased by 3 points to 956.
On Tuesday, there was no any financials release from the financial sector companies, as a result, this sector slightly eased its passion. Earlier, the shares demonstrated a significant rally due to better reading, measuring the earnings of Goldman Sachs company, and CIT Group rescue from bankcruptcy.
The other sectors shares tick up was supported by «blue chips» earnings report for Q2, such as Coca-Cola, United Technologies, Merc. The shares of Caterpillar company, which is included as a compound of Dow index, advanced more than by 7.5%, because of data issuance about less profit decline than it was estimated before.
Worth pointing out that DJIA is around the annual maximum, so more active actions of bears are expected.
