Billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk gave due credit to industrious nationals in China who bolstered up economic capabilities of their country. Interestingly, the owner of Tesla, SpaceX, and social media platform X believes that America has much to learn from China.
“The sheer number of really smart, hardworking people in China is incredible,” the entrepreneur admired. “How many smart, hardworking people are there in China? There’s far more of them there than there are here, I think, in my opinion, and they’ve got a lot of energy.”
Elon Musk underscored the rapid development of China's infrastructure. “The architecture in China that’s in recent years is far more impressive than the US. I mean the train stations, the buildings, the high-speed rail, everything, it’s really far more impressive than what we have in the US,” he explained.
However, America is not to be underestimated. The United States has long held the status of the world’s leading economic power. Nowadays, the country boasts the highest GDP per capita in the world. Nevertheless, experts admit that China’s rapid rise has the potential to change the global economic landscape. Meanwhile, Beijing has notched success in pursuing its ambitious policy. “This formidable economic power has several advantages over the US,” Tesla's CEO acknowledged.
