It seems that Donald Trump's new motto is to prioritize cryptocurrencies over all other assets. He is confidently promoting this agenda, including during the US presidential race. In particular, the former US president is paying special attention to Bitcoin.
The billionaire will reportedly deliver a speech at the annual Bitcoin 2024 conference to be held this month in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2023, the event attracted around 15,000 attendees. This year, the conference will take place from July 25-27, just a week after the Republican National Convention.
The world's largest gathering of crypto enthusiasts is organized by Bitcoin Magazine, the oldest and most established online publication dedicated to cryptocurrencies. This is where Vitalik Buterin, a prominent figure in the cryptocurrency sphere and co-founder of the Ethereum blockchain network, began his career. Notably, David Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin Magazine, is an advisor to the Trump election campaign.
In addition to Trump, other notable political figures are scheduled to take the stage as speakers at the conference, including independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, as well as Tennessee Republican Senators Bill Hagerty and Marsha Blackburn.
According to Donald Trump, he is ready to "end Joe Biden's war on crypto." This issue is particularly relevant as the presidential election approaches. In his statements, the billionaire calls on all cryptocurrency supporters to stand by him in the election. The former US president has emphasized that he intends to "ensure that the future of crypto and the future of Bitcoin will be made in America."
