According to crypto enthusiast Mark Cuban, the crypto market is fortunate to have a supporter like Kamala Harris. He believes that the Democratic frontrunner and current US vice president could take a welcoming approach to cryptocurrencies and help promote their widespread adoption.
As claimed by Mark Cuban, Kamala Harris, a presidential candidate endorsed by American leader Joe Biden, is supportive of innovation and digital assets. "The feedback I’m getting, but certainly not confirmed by the VP, is that she will be far more open to business, [artificial intelligence], crypto, and government as a service," Cuban said.
Earlier reports indicate that Harris’ team has been consulting with the billionaire investor on matters related to cryptocurrencies and the digital industry. Cuban sees it as a positive sign for the American crypto market. Amid growing geopolitical instability and inflation, Bitcoin could even take on the status of a global reserve asset, he suggested.
Notably, representatives from the US Chamber of Digital Commerce have recently reached out to Harris, urging her to support the crypto industry and to choose advisors who are friendly to virtual assets.
In addition, Bitcoin Magazine CEO David Bailey was reportedly in talks with Harris' team about her speech at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville.
