Gold and silver also performed well, securing the second and third spots, thanks to the central bank’s intervention in regulating precious metal prices. The Chinese yuan also made the list of the best-performing assets in 2024, rewarding those who invested in it.
However, despite the success of gold, silver, and the yuan, their gains pale in comparison to Bitcoin's, which hit a record $100,000 per coin by early December.
