US-based computer and printing giant Hewlett-Packard Co. plans to separate its personal-computer and printer businesses from its corporate hardware and services operations. Both firms will be publicly traded companies, each having earnings more than $50 billion a year.
Recently, Hewlett-Packard has faced a decline in its overall sales. So the company believes its division of enterprise servers and telecommunications services has a greater potential.
