The users of the world-largest social network Facebook will be able to make use of the money transfer service with the help of Messenger. Stanford computer science student Andrew Aude discovered this feature hidden in Facebook Messenger's source code, with the help of iOS app exploration developer tool Cycript. He said the users will be able to attach money transfers to their private messages the same way they attach simple pictures.
It is interesting to note that Facebook hired former PayPal president David Marcus who currently heads Messenger division. That’s why analysts do not rule out a possibility that Facebook will become a serious competitor to the major players on the e-money transfers market in the near future.
