Recently, a large number of Russian politicians and officials have suggested ideas of new banknotes issuing. There were proposals to issue a bill worth 10 thousand rubles. "Olympic" coins and banknotes used to be launched into circulation. Currently, Mikhail Shtyrlin, the Vice-president of the Union of winegrowers and wine makers of Russia, brough forward a new design of the 200-ruble note. Mikhail Shtyrlin addressed to the central bank of the Russian Federation with an initiative to issue the 200-ruble note with views of Crimea. Authors of an initiative developed their own design of a banknote. On it grape clusters, views of the Crimean vineyards and the Ai-Dag mountain have to be represented. Shtyrlin is sure that such symbolics will draw attention to Crimea as "cradles of the Russian winemaking". The proposed layout caused a lot of questions and doubts. Legend of the Crimea group of companies which is headed by Shtyrlin, reported that the development of the banknote design is estimated at 1 million rubles.
