US tech giant Google plans to invest $160 million in a fund to help publishing houses in Europe. Also, the company came to an agreement with some European publishers to boost their earnings in the Internet. Google mostly wants to invest in new digital projects connected with better advertising and development of news applications.

However, such newspapers as the Financial Times, the Guardian, El Pais, and Die Zeit support Google’s new project.
