In the first quarter of the year, Chinese telecoms giant Huawei has reported a revenue jump by 175.9 billion yuan or 28.3 billion US dollars. The indicator climbed by 30% compared to the first half of 2014.
The company’s operating margin amounted to 18%, slightly down from 18.3% last year.
“Huawei achieved stable and healthy growth in all of its three business segments. We are confident that we will maintain effective growth and steady and healthy development in all business segments in 2015,” Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou said.
According to the data from Huawei, last year, the company’s revenue rose by 19% and its operating margin was 11.9%.
According to the forecasts of the telecom equipment maker, in 2015, its global revenue will increase by 20% and by 2018 it will total 70 billion dollars. This translates as roughly 10% annual growth.
