US billionaire Donald Trump announced that he is prepared to spend $1 billion on his campaign if necessary. Trump said he does not have to worry about pleasing lobbyists like other candidates because his race is self-funded. "It’s irrelevant," he responded to a question about how much he has spent so far on his campaign. "I make $400 million a year, so what difference does it make? What I want to do is make the country great." Only a grand man could make such a statement. The businessman noted that he recently turned down $5 million from a lobbyist wanting to contribute to his campaign. The billionaire is able to pay for his presidential campaign by himself. In addition, he is completely independent from any sources of financing compared to other candidates. Trump is sure that a person, who takes money, could become a puppet controlled by a donor.
