The litigation launched when Apple filed suit against Samsung accusing it of using some of the iPhone technologies. Even the design of tablets caused the companies to face each other in court.
The case was decided in May 2014. Despite the fact that Apple was awarded $120 million damages, the key goal of the US corporation was not achieved. Samsung continued selling devices using the disputed features as no injunction was granted. It is worth noting that the leading tech producers supported Samsung in a court case against Apple.
