Apple Inc. proved its successfulness once again. Most consumers consider the company the leader in smartphone production, but it is not the only profitable field of the corporation’s activity. According to financial statements, Apple’s revenue from its so-called enterprise business totaled $25 billion for the 12 months ended in June. The company does not clearly specify what is classified as enterprise business, but it is known that this figure excludes revenue from customers who use their own Apple devices for work. For a few years now, the corporation has been actively performing in the business market. Earlier, Apple signed cooperation agreements with 40 IT vendors. Last summer, a partnership between the company and IBM was announced. Their joint project includes development of brand-new business apps for iPhone and iPad resting on the IBM experience with data analysis and cloud calculations. IBM MobileFirst for iOS became the first result of their alliance. The solutions series was issued as business apps and it supports cloud services for business users of iPhone and iPad. The product’s key feature is its adjustment in accordance with requirements of any company. It is easy to integrate, manage and update through IBM cloud services created especially for iOS devices. The cloud services guarantee security at all levels of data, applications, and devices.
