Poll reveals growing euroscepticism in EU

Nearly half of the Europeans polled by Ipsos-MORI Social Research Institute believe if Great Britain quits the EU next month, then other countries could follow.
In the latest survey in eight large EU countries, namely Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Spain, and Sweden, over 49% are certain the British will vote for the exit. If the scenario comes true, 51% pollees said Brexit would have a negative impact on the EU economy. 36% thought it would be bad for Britain’s economy. 45% said they want their own referendum on whether to stay in the 28-country bloc. 48% of Italians, 41% of the French, and 39% of Swedes said they would vote to leave the EU.
The Referendum on the EU membership is scheduled for June 23. British Prime Minister David Cameron is backing the EU integration and unity whereas he used to speak in favor of Brexit. He managed to secure a special status of his country. So the United Kingdom was granted the right to reduce social benefits for foreign migrants and adjust political decisions of Eurocrats.
According to recent opinion polls, roughly half of Britons are going to vote for the exit from the EU.
