Participation in a campaign trail is rather costly and it is even more expensive when it comes to a presidential election. Supporters of candidates with high chances of success inject large sums of money hoping for their victory. When the race enters the final step, financial help is of special importance.
According to Donald Trump’s tweets, he does not have any financial struggles. The Republican nominee tweeted that his campaign raised almost $13 million in 24 hours mainly via online donations. The cash flow keeps coming, the billionaire pointed out. At this rate, Donald Trump could catch up with his rival, ex US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The Democratic campaign leads by financial results. In august, Clinton received $143 million; while Trump, $90 million. Perhaps, in September the Republicans will raise their spending to meet the same levels as the Democrats have. Earlier, Trump said he financed his campaign on his own, but after his victory in the primaries, he demanded the Republican National Committee to fund the trail.
