The future of Europe is currently one of the hottest topics discussed by politicians all over the world. Leaders of the European nations are trying to guess what future has in store for the Eurozone.
At the summit of the European Parliament on February 5, French President Francois Hollande suggested that the socialist scenario would be the best for Europe. He stands for state-run economy, higher taxes and the euro debasement. Moreover, the French President offers to introduce minimum wage legislation in all European countries.
Mr Hollande is sure such measures will pave the way for bright future of the currency bloc.
What is more, Francois Hollande warns the Eurozone against following the example of Germany that believes each country should bear responsibility for its healthy economy on its own. He also called for joint projects, creation of new vacancies and promotion of Eurobonds. At the same time, the French President is concerned that the economy of his country is lagging behind Germany. The European Commission expects the budget deficit of France to go beyond the 3% EU target.
