Another virus in the guise of a social network web page has been detected by specialists of Silicon Valley, California. This time it waded in Facebook.
The spyware redirects users to another webpage of the social network under the pretence of additional account verification. They key in their logins and passwords, thus enabling cybercriminals to enter their Facebook accounts and send links to virus-infected pages under their names.
Specialists call on the internet community to stay alert, because the spyware runs at start-up, and this is what makes it particularly difficult to get rid of.
