Debts should be paid, as some lenders and scrupulous borrowers say. But there are people or even countries that can afford to ignore their debts.
Recently, media reports showed that the already huge national debt of the United States grew even bigger. During the period of Donald Trump’s presidency, the public debt increased by USD 544 billion, hitting the record high of USD 20.494 trillion. America’s opponents must be rubbing their hands in anticipation of the US economic collapse.
But not so fast! Few days before the public debt had almost reached the ceiling, the US congressmen agreed to suspend the debt limit until March 2019. Thus, it’s not the time yet for the American economy to crash.
