The $1 salary list extends to include Whole Foods’ John Mackey and Oracle’s Larry Ellison. Moreover, Jerry Yang, the co-founder and former CEO of Yahoo! Inc, was also said to be paid just $1.
It should be noted that Mark Zuckerberg can afford a miserly 1$ as a salary. He will perfectly do with his $2 million earned in 2012 as well as $2.27 billion profit from Facebook IPO in May, 2012, The Huffington Post says.
According to Forbes, the fortune of 28-year-old Facebook CEO is $13.3 million making him the twenty fifth most powerful person in the world.
Being a social activist, Mark launched a new political group, FWD.us (Forward us), in April. The group mainly deals with the problems migrants face in the U.S. Google boss Eric Schmidt, CEO of Yahoo Marissa Mayer, and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman voiced support for this initiative.
