Former Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi can be sentenced to six years in prison. The ambitious politician was brought to the trial due to his fiery temperament, love for women, and underage guests.
The accusation declares that the ex-Prime Minister systematically has raunchy parties in the villa. This fact caused the extreme reaction of the world community that was shocked. Berlusconi may be not only condemned to prison, but also be banned from politics forever. Moreover, he might also be charged with the abuse of power.
During his political career Silvio Berlusconi attended the public prosecution office several times. Italy appeals court has recently upheld a four-year sentence for the tax fraud. The Prime Minister's lawyers will appear in court on June 3. They have not presented yet their line of defense, but have already responded to the claims of prosecutor Ilda Bocassini by calling them too strict.
