The United States accuses the Chinese company Huawei of espionage and urges the allies to abandon the use of this manufacturer's products. Washington even intends to pay providers of wireless communication services for equipment change. According to the White House, the situation is serious enough to put at risk security of the US military bases located on the territory of its allies - Germany, Italy and Japan. Huawei equipment is widely used in these countries. Such concerns appeared in early 2018, when the CIA, NSA, FBI and Pentagon's intelligence agency told the Senate Intelligence Committee that Chinese manufacturers' smartphones threaten the US buyers’ safety. FBI director Christopher Wray said that Huawei has penetrated into American networks and can easily "maliciously modify or steal information" and "conduct undetected espionage." It is worth noting that the Chinese company is controlled by the Chinese government. It is not the first time when the company attracts the attention of foreign intelligence services. At present, the White House Administration is not putting an ultimatum, but is trying to persuade the ally countries' governments and telecommunication companies to carefully study this problem. In addition, wishing to limit cooperation with Huawei, Washington is ready to pay. The United States considers the possibility of providing financial assistance aimed at supporting programs for the telecommunications systems development in countries that refuse Huawei products.
