The Dow Jones Industrial Average, the major industrial index, crashed down by 500 points, the Associated Press reported. Experts noted that it was the forth sharp decline in the current month.
According to the agency, the index slumped due to finance losses of such IT-giants as Microsoft and Amazon. Besides, there was a significant decrease in shares of health care companies.
The stock market index S&P 500 dropped by almost 2.1% or 54 points to 2,545 points. Besides, there was a major downfall of the Dow on December 8 amid the US-China trade dispute.
