Kristin Huguet, the official spokeswoman of Apple Inc., announced that the corporation has hired former chief executive officer of luxury fashion house Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) Paul Deneve. In compliance with Ms Huguet, Mr Deneve will work on “special projects” and report to Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, but no details were given.
According to Reuters, Paul Deneve had already been working at sales and marketing departments of Apple European division between 1990 and 1997. Before he was named the president and CEO of YSL in 2011, he managed some companies of fashion industry such as Lanvin and Nina Ricci. Francesca Bellettini will succeed Mr Deneve as head of Yves Saint Laurent.
