In a tough race to win the tender, Microsoft has beaten such competitors as Amazon, IBM, and Oracle. Notably, the US military and the CIA have been using Amazon Web Services (AWS) for several years. Although Microsoft is a reputable long-standing tech giant, some sources familiar with the matter say that this story is not so straightforward. US President Donald Trump has allegedly interfered in the selection process and ordered to deny Amazon the contract. It turns out that the largest shareholder and the richest person in the world, Jeff Bezos, is engaged in the ongoing conflict with Trump. The mass media controlled by Jeff Bezos is constantly criticizing Trump, and it seems that finally Trump has been able to take his revenge. That is why Amazon suspected that the decision on the tender was made unfairly bypassing the fair market competition.
