The Belarusian policemen are challenging the common sense – they set an unreal task – to find a person who has never hidden . Suleyman Kerimov, Russian businessman and a member of the Federation Council of Dagestan, head of Nafta Moskva Financial and Industrial Group and owner of FC Anji, has been put on the wanted list in Belarus. The reason for a criminal investigation is the shareholding of Uralkali, owned by Kerimov. The Investigative Committee of Belarus issued an arrest warrant for the merchant and formally listed him as missing, and, more than that, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, called on Interpol for the hunt. Kerimov is suspected of "abusing his powers". In accordance with the Belorusian law, he may go to prison for up to 10 years and his property will be confiscated for the benefit of the Belarusian ‘batka’. According to only official reports, his assets are more than $7.5 billion excepting the real estate property and shares of large companies held by Kerimov. At the same time, the Belarusian government is offering any assistance to the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation in investigating the fact of connection of Kerimov with criminal groups in the Caucasus.
