The White House has come up with a large-scale infrastructure project as jaded Americans are fed up with a poor condition of domestic highways and roads in the countryside. They never feel embarrassed to inquire the government about the allocation of tax revenues.
With Donald Trump’s consent, the Department of Transportation set out a package of measures worth nearly $1 trillion aimed at development and renovation of the infrastructure. The package will be distributed among particular programs such as repairing and building roads, bridges, intersections, installing 5G networks, and launching broadband technology in rural places. The Internet-related program could be included in a separate stimulus package as a support measure amid the pandemic. Alternatively, the White House could adopt the appropriate legislative bill.
Earlier, the US authorities approved the unrivalled financial aid package of $3 trillion to shore up the economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic. These funds are intended to support businesses, hospitals and other providers of medical services, to purchase medical equipment, and to provide Governors with extra aid.
