The outbreak of the coronavirus has deeply shocked the markets. However, the situation is now gradually turning for the better and quotes have started gaining ground again. Along with them, the world’s richest people are growing even richer. Thus, some of them manage to set records in this difficult time. For example, the wealth of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who is already the richest man in the world, literally spiked by $7.2 billion in just one day. The businessman’s capital is currently estimated at $197.8 billion. Forbes experts have never recorded such figures in the entire history of the rating. None of the billionaires has been able to achieve results like that in 40 years. Bezos' fortune is growing along with the value of Amazon’s stock which jumped by 4% at once in just one trading session. Apart from that, Bezos earned additional income by selling more than $3.1 billion worth of his company's stock. Nowadays, the founder of an e-commerce colossus Amazon owns more than 54 million shares of the company. Experts suggest that the American entrepreneur will become the first trillionaire by 2026.
