Tesla’s communique reads that the company delivered almost half a million cars to customers in the whole 2020 that is a breakthrough in sales compared to 2019. This figure has slightly undershot a milestone of 500,000 items. The manufacturer of electric vehicles sold 499,550 cars in 2020. Besides, Tesla produced 509,737 electric cars.
It goes without saying that the most popular cars are the budget-friendly Model 3 and Model Y. They were purchased by more than 442,000 drivers. Premium quality cars like Model S and Model X were sold to nearly 57,000 customers.
Apart from the electric vehicles production, Tesla Inc. is developing solar panels and other energy storage solutions.
