Gold vending machine opened in Great Britain

The Daily Telegraph newspaper highlights the unveiling of a new gold selling vending machine by Ex Oriente Lux in Great Britain. The service is called “Gold To Go”.
The vending machine, opened in London shopping centre, contains gold bars and gold coins of various weight and size. Among others, there is a 2.5 g bar with the London skyline engraved on its reverse and 1 g coin which can be a good gift for any occasion.
The cost of 1g bar in the “Gold To Go” machine is 41 pound sterling (65.6 dollars). On July 1 one troy ounce of gold (about 31 g) cost 1493 dollars. Computer inside the machine updates the gold prices every 10 minutes. Britain is the sixth country where gold is sold using ATM. The first machine was installed in Frankfurt in 2009. Later such vending machines were opened in Italy, Spain, the USA and the United Arab Emirates.
