According to Bloomberg citing Amazon officials, the company’s employees vaccinated against Covid-19 will be offered to take part in a prize draw. The maximum cash prize is $500,000. The world’s largest online retailer is not planning to require mandatory vaccinations as it wants to avoid outrage among its employees. So, the company launched a corporate lottery called Max Your Vax to encourage more of its staff to get the jab. The vaccinated workers can take part in the contest with a prize pool of two $500,000 and six $100,000 cash awards. The lottery also offers five cars and five vacation packages. Starting Monday, August 9, Amazon has enhanced its protective measures amid the spreading delta variant of the coronavirus. From now on, all workers are required to wear masks regardless of their vaccination status.
