There is no doubt that Elon Musk runs his business in a highly professional way. Recently, the billionaire conducted an assessment of his company’s software. He said that Tesla’s driver-assistance software was “not great” and the “Autopilot/AI team is rallying to improve as fast as possible.” While some people recklessly throw satellites into space, others achieve flawless performance in electric cars production. “We’re trying to have a single stack [for electric cars’ proper functioning] for both highway & city streets, but it requires massive NN (neural network) retraining,” the Tesla CEO tweeted. For now, the company’s engineers have a lot of work ahead on the improvement of the driver-assistance system functionality. The decision came after Tesla cars caused a series of collisions with road services and first responder vehicles. Two Democratic senators, Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut and Ed Markey of Massachusetts in their letter to the Federal Trade Commission expressed their serious concerns about Tesla’s “misleading advertising of its Autopilot and Full Self-Driving (FSD) features.” They asked the FTC to “open an investigation into potentially deceptive and unfair practices in Tesla’s advertising and marketing.”
