China called the decision of the United States to add 33 Chinese companies to the trade blacklist a mistake. Beijing urges the US government to immediately correct its "wrongdoings" and return to the track of cooperation.
In its statement, the Chinese authorities expressed firm opposition to the decision to add the Chinese firms to the so-called "unverified list" based solely on the inability to verify the legitimacy and reliability of those entities in relation to their use of US exports.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce urged the United States to correct its mistakes, withdraw the relevant decisions, get back on the track of cooperation, and contribute more to the global economic recovery and the stability of the global industry and supply chains.
The US Commerce Department said it had added 33 firms in China to its red-flag list as it was unable to establish how goods exported from the US would be used by them.
By complying with US sanctions, individuals and legal entities can no longer export goods to any of China’s blacklisted companies.
