Mark Zuckerberg has recently announced that social media giant Meta, formerly Facebook, is revamping its values. The company has introduced a new philosophy, proving that it is something more than an ordinary money making enterprise. Zuckerberg admits that he bears responsibility for letting third parties access Meta users data. Therefore, the creator of the most popular social network pays scrupulous attention to the company's core values and the new motto “Meta, Metamates, Me” reflects them. “This means operating as a distributed-first company and being the early adopters of the future products we're building to help people feel present together no matter where they are. It's about the sense of responsibility we have for our collective success and to each other as teammates. It's about taking care of our company and each other," Zuckerberg writes in the note. The “Move fast” value was completely changed and now this value says “Move fast together.” “This means acting with urgency and not waiting until next week to do something you could do today,” the CEO explained. “Be bold” was transformed into “Build awesome things.” “We've already built products that are useful to billions of people, but in our next chapter we'll focus more on inspiring people as well,” Zuckerberg wrote. The Meta employees have to adopt such values as “Live in the future,” “Focus on long-term impact,” and “Be direct and respect your colleagues.”
