Among a host of downbeat reports and gloomy forecasts, there are some titbits of positive news. One of them relates to the future of the first digital currency.
Tim Draper, an American investor and founder of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, is sure that bitcoin will hit its all-time high of $250,000 per coin next year. Despite the recent crash in the coin and its current performance, the venture capitalist remains bullish. He believes that in 2023, bitcoin holders will be rewarded for their devotion to the industry pioneer. Even though the crypto market is going through tough times, he assumes that the flagship cryptocurrency could achieve the above price target in the first half of 2023. Notably, BTC is currently trading around the $17,000 mark.
Executive Director of the Russian Association of Cryptoeconomics, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain (Racib) Alexander Brazhnikov shares this view. He also predicts a surge in the value of bitcoin in the near future. According to the analyst, BTC is a highly volatile cryptocurrency with a track record of boom-and-bust cycles when its price soars, then plummets, and rebounds again. True, his forecast suggests a relatively modest rise. Brazhnikov estimates that the biggest cryptocurrency could range from $70,000 to $100,000 by 2024.
