At the moment, almost all Americans are gripped by fear and hate. One in three Americans is terrified of the economic difficulties they may face in the new year. On the one hand, the economy is already damaged and the national currency is devalued. On the other hand, some analysts still foresee another drop.
A survey conducted by the sociological service of the Gallup Institute unveiled disappointing facts. Thus, most US adults think that “2023 will be a year of economic difficulty.” The polled people expect political conflicts within the country and disagreements in the international arena. Most analysts have concluded that recent years have been very challenging for US citizens. That is why they may enter 2023 with a gloomy outlook. Every day, the number of those who see the real state of affairs rises. People realize that the country is on the verge of an economic collapse and total degradation.
“Eight in 10 US adults think 2023 will be a year of economic difficulty with higher rather than lower taxes and a growing rather than shrinking budget deficit.” Over 60% suppose that “prices will rise at a high rate and the stock market will fall in the year ahead.” About half of Americans predict that “unemployment will increase in 2023.” “On the domestic front, 90% of Americans expect 2023 will be a year of political conflict in the US, 72% think the crime rate will rise, and 56% predict there will be many strikes by labor unions,” the survey reads.
