Finnish telecommunications corporation Nokia has launched a new brand identity, including a strategy shift and a new logo, the company’s management announced. Nokia CEO Pekka Lundmark says: “We see the potential of digital to transform business, industry, and society.” He adds that the firm is focused on significant gains in productivity and accessibility of its products, pinpointing that Nokia has a new company and technology strategy that “unleash the exponential potential of networks.” Lundmark assures that technology will pioneer a future where “networks meet the cloud.” Among other refreshments is the company’s new logo which comprises five different shapes forming the word NOKIA. The old logo’s blue color has been replaced with a range of colors. According to the management, Nokia’s new logo symbolizes “an energized, ever-changing, and modern Nokia, proposing its values and purpose.” It speaks for collaboration, which the company believes to be crucial for implementing the potential of networks and boosting sustainability and accessibility.
