China is rightfully one of the most desirable markets for any foreign company. Its economy is developing rapidly, and the welfare of its population is advancing fast. The Chinese are actively earning and spending money. In other words, China is an entrepreneur's paradise. Like many other businesspeople, Tesla CEO Elon Musk is increasingly interested in expanding the operations of his company in China.
During his recent visit to China, the billionaire met with the country’s Foreign Minister Qin Gang. Far from every politician can have a high-level welcome in China, let alone an entrepreneur. Musk is one of the few lucky who deserved such an honor. Following the meeting, China’s Foreign Affairs Ministry summed up its results and released an official statement, saying that Musk was “willing to continue to expand its business in China”. The businessman also opposed the “decoupling” of the United States and China economies.
“The interests of the United States and China are intertwined like conjoined twins,” he was quoted as saying by the ministry.
