Mark Zuckerberg has recently bashed Apple’s VR headset. “Every demo that they showed was a person sitting on a couch by themself,” he said about the Vision Pro. However, according to Business Insider, his criticism of Apple is groundless.
Apple announced its Vision Pro М on June 5. However, Mark Zuckerberg did not seem fazed by the headset. He pointed to the difference in the vision of Meta and its competitor for the future of virtual reality.
Zuckerberg also stressed that the Meta headset was “fundamentally social.” The businessman is currently engaged in the development of a metaverse that will create an energetic and competitive person of the future.
He noted that Meta’s headset was about “people interacting in new ways and feeling closer” while also “about being active and doing things.” At the same time, Business Insider analysts reckon it will be in no way different from Apple’s Vision Pro.
They say that in the future that Zuckerberg envisages users will be divided from others by big headsets anyway.
The price could be a major difference as Meta’s device is cheaper than Apple’s. Still, they will operate based on the same principle and bring forth an equal response from users who decide to escape from reality.
