Germany’s World Cup 2014 win should be imprinted on the people’s memories for ever after. The German government and Bundesbank made their minds to please football fans and numismatists minting a commemorative coin devoted to the glorious victory of the German team.
The coin is supposed to keep the memory of this historic day for the German people. The commemorative coin of 1 euro cent will contain a portrait of team’s forward Miroslav Klose on the one side. An important point to remember is that the footballer was recognized as the top scorer in the World Cup history. The score recorded in the final game against Argentina – 1:0 - will be put on the other side of the coin. The Germany’s national football team has won a total of four World Cups.
