According to economists, this figure grew by $4 trillion over the past year. As per current rankings, Japan leads in the volume of investments in US government bonds. In October 2023, its investments in US securities reached $1.09 trillion. China held a runner-up position with $769.6 billion, while the United Kingdom occupied the third spot with $693 billion.
