At 8.30 am ET Tuesday, U.S. CPI for November is set for release. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While it dropped against the pound and the yen, it held steady against the euro and the franc.
The greenback was worth 137.36 against the yen, 1.0543 against the euro, 1.2295 against the pound and 0.9361 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
