Statistics Canada will release Canada jobs data for February at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts. While it held steady against the yen, it rose against the rest of rivals.
The loonie was worth 1.4637 against the euro, 0.9112 against the aussie, 1.3825 against the greenback and 98.90 against the yen as of 8:25 am ET.
