The unemployment rate in Poland remained stable for the second straight month in September, in line with expectations, figures from the statistical office showed on Tuesday.
The unemployment rate came in at 5.0 percent in September, the same as in the previous two months. The June figure was revised up from 5.0 percent to 5.1 percent.
In the corresponding month last year, the unemployment rate was 5.1 percent.
The number of registered unemployed people dropped to 776,500 in September from 782,500 in the previous month.
The number of unemployed young people under the age of 24 increased to 102,100 in September from 94,100 in August.
