At 10 am ET Tuesday, the Conference Board has released its report on U.S. consumer confidence in the month of October. After the data, the greenback firmed further against its major rivals.
The greenback was trading at 1.0595 against the euro, 151.11 against the yen, 0.9070 against the franc and 1.2128 against the pound around 10:05 am ET.
