Portugal's producer prices decreased for the seventh successive month in October, figures from Statistics Portugal showed on Monday.
The producer price index fell 5.0 percent year-on-year in February, slower than the 5.2 percent rise in the previous month.
The downward trend was largely driven by a 14.8 percent decline in prices for energy goods and a 6.0 percent fall in the intermediate goods segment.
Excluding the energy group, producer prices decreased at a stable rate of 1.9 percent in October.
On a monthly basis, producer prices edged down 0.2 percent in October, reversing a 0.2 percent increase in September.
