The Federal Housing Finance Agency's house price index and S&P/Case-Shiller home price index for October are due at 9:00 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of these data, the greenback fell against its major rivals.
The greenback was worth 142.33 against the yen, 0.8552 against the franc, 1.1017 against the euro and 1.2702 against the pound at 8:55 am ET.
